Carlie has completed her Bachelor of Music in Performance and Associates in Science with an emphasis in music at Utah Valley University.
She received conducting instruction from Dr. Thomas Keck while completing her degree at UVU. She has experience with ProTools and Sibelius under Todd Sorenson and Nathan Hofheins. Aural Skills instruction was given through Dr. Natalie Douglas, Dr. Jeffery O'Flynn, and Dr. Ryan Nielsen.
Prior to attending UVU Carlie studied Cello under Russel Hansen, Deborah Glenn, Paul Wells, and Sheri Dunford.
In addition to her skills with cello, Carlie also has piano skills she has learned under the direction of Christi Sowby, Armen Sahakyan, Amy Cloud, and her mother.
Carlie has been involved in Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Cello Choir, Concert Strings, Symphonic Strings, Small Ensembles, and Solo Repertoire throughout her musical education.
Many of these experiences have been rewarded with superior ratings. Her piano recitals and competitions gave her similar involvement.
Carlie is available for orchestral, small ensemble, and solo performances.
Pricing is $75 per hour.
This includes weddings, funerals, and family gatherings.
